What is the SAPPHIRE FUE Method?

 With the SAPPHIRE FUE technique, patients end up with a more natural, intense appearance. With this technique, the hair follicles are extracted from the donor area and transplanted to the requested area by micro-needles. Transplanting the follicles in the same hair growth direction is the most important feature of the SAPPHIRE FUE technique. Hair collection

The graft extraction is simple, painless, and heals within a few days. Most patients return to work the next day after having the procedure.

The collection of all needed hair from the donor area takes about 2 to 3 hours and it is done with an FUE micromotor. A very tiny punch with a diameter from 0.6 to 0.9 mm is placed in the skin which makes a small circular incision around a follicular unit removing it from the surrounding tissue. The instruments are very tiny therefore the impact in the donor area is minimal and after healing the final results look very natural.

Hair Insertion

During this step, channels are opened in the bold areas using a SAPPHIRE FUE blade. The insertion of the hair is done with specific tools, using a specific methodology under a high powered microscope. The follicles are inserted in a precise angle and direction. Thus the inserted hairs are in line with the existing hair growth pattern and direction. As there are no incisions, there is minimal bleeding and minimal trauma in the surrounding area. The recovery and healing processes are very fast without leaving any scars.

Why prefer the SAPPHIRE FUE method?
 

• The most modern hair transplant technique FUE has now advanced one step further with the usage of blades made from a precious gemstone called sapphire, instead of steel blades used in regular FUE transplants.
